Windows - Living Room

Here's the before. These will all be stripped and stained. 

The upper sashes were all painted shut. 

The interior scraping is complete and painting staining has started. 

The exterior side of the sashes are primed and painted to match outside trim color. 

Step 1. Oil based primer. I use oil based paint on any surface in contact with the sash. Latex against latex will stick and prevent smooth operation of sash. 

Step 1a. Interior side of jamb gets stained.

Tree removal

We finally removed the two flowering crab apple trees in the backyard. I will miss the shade but not the mess. 

Dining room chairs

Got chairs back from upholster. We bought these several a years ago and finally got new cushions made and recovered. 

Humidifier

After another winter of dry skin, eczema, and shrinking woodwork we got a whole house humdifer installed. Just need to get power to it and we'll fire it up. 

Upstairs Bathroom - Completed

Upstairs bathroom is finally done. Got the restored window installed last week, curtains hung, and paint touch ups finished. 

Bathroom - Upper Cabinets

Upper cabinets got installed today. I need to fill mails holes and touchup the trim and get the faucet and lights installed and it will be finished. 

Bathroom - Countertop

Tile is finished and countertop is in place.
